Why did you choose JMU?

I chose JMU because it had solid academics, a friendly vibe, and a beautiful campus. I like that everyone can find their place at JMU because the school is welcoming. The JMU value of Dukes Holding Doors continues with our alumni, which is an untapped asset for both the university, our alumni, faculty and students and a reason for creating Federal Dukes.

How did your degree from JMU lead you to where you are today?

I learned how to learn fast, think clearly, and communicate effectively. These skills were foundational to a diverse career and are invaluable to me today.

What does working for the Federal Government community mean to you?

As a member of the federal government community, I play on Team USA. The idea for Team USA came from the government acquisition regulations that includes guiding principles stating that government and industry are on the same team, serving our nation. That spirit of service to our nation is directly aligned to Dukes Hold Doors. I love being part of something big and collaborating with talented colleagues to accelerate mission outcomes.
