Greg Cox leads a federal sales team focused on delivering to the US Air Force and US Space Force’s most critical priorities. Gartner is the world’s leading research and advisory firm, providing actionable and objective insights to executives and their teams. Prior to Gartner, he spent several years supporting other Department of Defense programs in the National Capital Region.

Why did you choose JMU?
Loved the campus, loved the setting and the friendly nature of the student body.
How did your degree from JMU lead you to where you are today?
It certainly prepared me for the roles I’ve had over the years. The College of Business courses provided a well rounded foundation that I was able to use in my first year of full time employment right out of college.
What does working for the Federal Government community mean to you?
I am an avid supporter of our Department of Defense and our Veterans. I like to believe that my job and the job my company delivers has a measurable impact on our federal government, specifically our DoD. If I can positively impact our armed forces, I will do everything in my ability to accomplish that.
