INTERNSHIP HOUSING GRANTS: Students looking to enter the Federal space through internships need access to temporary housing in an expensive housing and rental market. The JMU Federal Dukes are developing a fund to help students subsidize their rent in the DC / METRO AREA.

ENDOWED FULL-TIME POSITION AT JMU: The JMU Federal Dukes are developing a funding strategy to support the hire of a senior experienced leader at JMU to help set strategy and execute with the university, the JMU Federal Dukes alumni chapter and industry to advance JMU as the premier academic institution serving the U.S. Federal Government.

NORTHERN VIRGINIA JMU CAMPUS AND FACILITY: The JMU Federal Dukes are developing a plan and business case working with the University, State and Local Government, and Industry to plant a flag for JMU with a physical location and campus in the DMV to support academic programs, internship placements, research programs, and a public-private partnership to grow JMU's federal market brand and opportunities for JMU alumni and students.

CHAPTER EVENT OPERATIONS: A small percentage of donation and sponsorship dollars will go to the operational expenses of hosting events and programs with alumni and students. An annual report will be published for all chapter members with detailed transparency on funds received and dollars spent.
